Golf Club Parts

At their core, golf clubs are really quite simple. There are just a few golf club parts names you need to know which are used interchangeably across most club types (woods, irons, wedges, etc.).

There are 4 basic golf club parts every club has. Every golf club has a grip, a shaft, a hosel, and a club head. The pictures below shows each of these parts.

These are all pretty self explanatory except for the hosel. The hosel is a socket in the club head where the shaft and the club head connect. The shaft is glued into the hosel and oftentimes a small plastic sleeve called a “ferrule” covers the connection.
